Hearts4Leo is a cause marketing campaign presented by Panhandle Warrior Partnership to partner with local communities to demonstrate support for our nation's military community.

If you are an individual ready to recognize a hometown hero or loved one who served, you can donate directly to PWP to get started. Every $10 you donate will earn you a heart to recognize a hometown hero or a loved one who served.

The campaign is in honor of the late Colonel Leo K. Thorsness, a Medal of Honor recipient and one of the most highly decorated American airmen of the Vietnam War.
After returning from being a prisoner of war for six years, Thorsness’s life mantra focused on four F’s “Faith, Family, Friends, and Fun.” His mantra lives on through each and every one of us. His birthday was on February 14, which is why we choose to honor him around Valentine’s Day each year.

How It Works
1. PARTNER
Small businesses, schools/universities, nonprofits, and corporate partners can all sign up to join us in the campaign and collect donations at their place of business.
3. SUPPORT
Individuals round-up at participating businesses to recognize a hometown hero or a loved one who served by having their name publicly displayed on a Heart4Leo to show their love and support for the veteran community. Individuals can donate directly to PWP.
2. ENDORSE
Participating businesses and organizations will be recognized on PWP social media, and provided in-store signage to share opportunities for sponsoring hearts that recognize a hometown hero.
4. ACKNOWLEDGE
Participants' hearts are displayed digitally and at your local business. Partners are acknowledged through the PWP website, newsletter, and social media.
