Winter Wonderland

Fort Walton Beach Police Department’s annual Winter Wonderland event was held on December 12 and 13, 2025, at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Rigdon Center.  The Winter Wonderland community event was a heartwarming success that brought together families, veterans, and community members in a spirit of unity, hope, and celebration. Sponsored by the Fort Walton Beach Police Department and supported by Panhandle Warrior Partnership along with dedicated community partners, the event transformed a winter evening into a safe, joyful space for connection and giving back.

Children and families enjoyed festive activities, holiday treats, and winter-themed attractions, while veterans and their families were welcomed with warmth and appreciation. Panhandle Warrior Partnership played a key role in engaging veterans, sharing available resources, and strengthening relationships between local service providers and those who have served. The presence of Fort Walton Beach Police Department helped foster trust, safety, and positive community engagement, reinforcing their commitment to serving beyond traditional law enforcement roles. 

This Winter Wonderland event exemplifies what can be accomplished when organizations and the community come together with a shared mission. Through collaboration, compassion, and service, the event not only created lasting holiday memories but also strengthened bonds, uplifted families, and reaffirmed the community’s commitment to supporting veterans and one another year-round.
