Gulf Coast Career Source generously donated essential items to support a community homeless outreach event. Their contribution, which included clothing, blankets, hygiene kits, helped ensure that individuals experiencing homelessness received much-needed comfort and care. The donation met immediate needs and also demonstrated the organization’s commitment to giving back and uplifting vulnerable members of the community. Their support played a key role in making the event a success and bringing hope to those in attendance.

In an effort to give back to those who have served and those in need, Panhandle Warrior Partnership is preparing for its upcoming Stronger Together Resource Fair and Standdown on November 5 at the Rigdon Center (1958 Lewis Turner Blvd) at the Northwest Florida Fairgrounds. This annual event will provide essential resources, services, and support to veterans, active-duty military members, and individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

The Standdown will feature a variety of services—health screenings, housing assistance, clothing, meals, employment opportunities, and more; to make it a true success, the organization is reaching out to sponsors and vendors who are willing to partner in this mission of compassion and community care.

“Events like this are about dignity, respect, and connecting people with the help they deserve,” shared Rufus Neely, the event coordinator. “We rely on the generosity of sponsors and the participation of vendors to ensure we can provide food, supplies, and services that truly make a difference in someone’s life.”

Potential sponsors can contribute through financial donations, in-kind support, or by providing resources such as food, clothing, or hygiene kits. Vendors and service providers are invited to set up booths offering health services, job opportunities, or community resources.

By joining forces, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders can help transform the Standdown into a powerful day of hope, connection, and change.
